Vintec Solar Street Lights use a solar module-battery system to generate and store electricity during daylight hours. This energy is then released by a timer at night to run light bulbs of various sizes. The Street Lights excel in low life-cycle costs. The installed price for stand-alone solar,

street lights may be lower than with conventional street lights.  This is due to zero expenses for

now redundant power cables, trenches, transformers, meters and on-site production of electricity.

Solar-powered street lights have meanwhile proven to be the most reliable light source in the event of power cuts or emergency situations.
