Introduction

LES-SB controller, using cutting-edge magnetic technology with no moving, parts, are a major breakthrough and herald a new era in energy control. The Vintec LES-SB controllers are easy to fit, require no maintenance, are quite inexpensive, and can save users of discharge lighting a fortune in electricity bills.  Even more, they require no infrastructural changes to existing installations.
Continuous control of light intensity of compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) is usually complicated and expensive. However, we have found that compact lamps and fluorescent lamps can be controlled by simple means, provided that the control is done at pre-selected, discrete levels:
High, Medium, Low.  .

Installation
The system includes an adjustable automatic time switch bypass the controller during the first 1 minute up to 20 minutes, after the light has been turned on by full power. This precaution is vital to ensure safe ignition and initial warm-up of the bulbs.
After this short period, the light output is automatically set according to the positions of the light control switches.

Light output control
The system includes three manual switches:
Main Switch:  On-Off.
Second, switch
Selects between controller and high output
In high position the Voltage output equal to the input Voltage
In Control Position you can select the level output voltage by the third switch
Third switch,
Selects between medium and low light output.
In position Medium the output voltage is equal to Volt input-20Volts
(Reduction of 30 volts)
The third switch is active only with the second switch in controller position.
In position Low the output Voltage is equal to volt input – 25 Volts
(Reduction of 25 volts)
Boost the input Power Supply
In case the main supply voltage to be increased the main supply should be connected to the terminal board marked 200V.

If the Input supply voltage is in Terminal Board marked  230V:
Main supply is 230-250VVAC 
Output voltage: Input voltage less 20V or less 25V
Power Boost Mod
If the input supply is in terminal board marked in 200V:
     Supply 200V - 230VAC 
The Output Voltage : Input voltage increase in about 10% or 15%V
Frequency: 50-60Hz
